Bio
Horndeski grew up the son of a steelworker in Cleveland, Ohio. His aptitude for mathematics and physics eventually resulted in a tenured teaching position at an esteemed university in Canada. After many years of teaching, his love for art prevailed, and he resigned from his position to paint full time. Horndeski's works have been acquired by museums in this country and abroad, as well as by prominent collectors. He lives in Santa Fe, New Mexico, and enjoys his desert garden filled with swaying ornamental grasses and sunflowers, in homage to Van Gogh, whose painting originally inspired him to follow his dream.
